- UDP-glucose + a phenol UDP + an aryl beta-D-glucoside

This enzyme belongs to the family of glycosyltransferases, specifically the hexosyltransferases. The systematic name of this enzyme class is UDP-glucose:phenol beta-D-glucosyltransferase.
