An erosion is a superficial sore of the skin, typically starting as a blister or pustule, and may heal without scarring or progress to form an ulcer.[1] It may be moist, ooze, or crust.[2]
Conditions that may present with erosions include impetigo, trauma, pemphigus vulgaris, pemphigus foliaceus, and staphylococcal scalded skin syndrome.[2]
