Sessizdere is a village in the Pazar District, Rize Province, in Black Sea Region of Turkey.[1] Its population is 494 (2021).[2]
History
According to list of villages in Laz language book (2009), name of the village is Nasivati, which means "pastor village". Most villagers are ethnically Laz.[3]
Geography
The village is located 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) away from Pazar.
