Ambivere (Bergamasque: Ambìer) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 40 kilometres (25 mi) northeast of Milan and about 9 kilometres (6 mi) west of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,265 and an area of 3.2 square kilometres (1.2 sq mi).[3]
Ambivere borders the following municipalities: Mapello, Palazzago, Pontida, Sotto il Monte Giovanni XXIII.
